At least, that's what the headline would read if Huckabee were a Democrat.
This story is so horrific and sad, and maddeningly random, that I don't have the stomach to give the run down on all the details. Basically, a multiple felon named Maurice Clemmons savagely shot down four Pierce county police officers on Sunday after being released on bail for assaulting a police officer and raping a twelve year old.
Before the shooting and the assault and the rape, Clemmons previously had a 60 year sentence commuted by then Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.
A terrible and familiar story.
I can't help but wonder if Huckabee's presidential aspirations lay dead in that coffee shop as well. By his party's standards it does.
